East Blue Saga
1. Romance Dawn Arc Episodes 1-3

Where it all begins! We meet Monkey D. Luffy, a boy with rubber powers gained from eating the Gum-Gum Fruit, who dreams of becoming the King of the Pirates. He sets sail and quickly recruits his first crew member, the pirate-hating swordsman Roronoa Zoro.

2. Orange Town Arc Episodes 4-8

Luffy and Zoro arrive in Orange Town, where they encounter the cunning thief Nami and the bug-eyed pirate Buggy the Clown. This arc establishes Nami’s complicated relationship with pirates and her initial reluctance to join Luffy.
3. Syrup Village Arc Episodes 9-18

The Straw Hats grow with the addition of the lying sharpshooter Usopp. They defend his village from the Black Cat Pirates, led by Captain Kuro, who has been posing as a butler to execute a years-long plan.
4. Baratie Arc Episodes 19-30

We meet the “Black Leg” Sanji, a cook with powerful kick-based fighting techniques. The crew defends the floating restaurant Baratie from Don Krieg, one of the most powerful pirates in the East Blue.
5. Arlong Park Arc Episodes 31-44

This emotionally charged arc reveals Nami’s tragic past as she confronts the fish-man pirate Arlong, who has terrorized her village for years. It’s here that Luffy declares war on anyone who harms his nakama (friends), a theme that becomes central to the series.
6. Loguetown Arc Episodes 45-53

The Straw Hats visit the “Town of the Beginning and End,” where Gold Roger was executed. Luffy faces off against Marine Captain Smoker, and we’re introduced to Dragon, the revolutionary leader who saves Luffy at a critical moment.
Alabasta Saga
7. Reverse Mountain Arc Episodes 54-61

The crew enters the Grand Line by climbing Reverse Mountain, where they meet the whale Laboon and acquire their eternal pose to Alabasta. This arc introduces us to the larger world beyond East Blue.
8. Whiskey Peak Arc Episodes 62-63

The Straw Hats arrive at a town that welcomes pirates, only to discover it’s a trap set by Baroque Works agents. We see Zoro’s incredible strength as he defeats the town’s bounty hunters single-handedly.
9. Little Garden Arc Episodes 64-77

A trip back in time as the crew lands on an island where prehistoric creatures still exist. They meet the giants Dorry and Brogy, who have been fighting for 100 years, and face off against Baroque Works agents Mr. 3 and Miss Goldenweek.
10. Drum Island Arc Episodes 78-91

Seeking a doctor for Nami, the crew lands on Drum Island, a winter wonderland with a cruel king. Here they meet Tony Tony Chopper, a reindeer who ate the Human-Human Fruit and can transform into different forms.
11. Arabasta Arc Episodes 92-130

The saga’s climax as the Straw Hats help Princess Vivi save her kingdom from the criminal organization Baroque Works and its leader, Sir Crocodile. This epic arc features incredible battles, political intrigue, and the emotional farewell to Vivi.

12. Jaya Arc Episodes 131-143

The crew searches for information on Skypiea and meets the pirate Blackbeard, who shares Luffy’s ideals about dreams. They also encounter Bellamy, a pirate who mocks their ambitions.

13. Skypiea Arc Episodes 144-195

One of the most unique arcs in the series, as the Straw Hats literally go to heaven. They become involved in a 400-year-old war between the native Shandians and the sky people led by “God” Enel.

17. Water 7 Arc Episodes 227-263

One of the most emotionally devastating arcs in the series. The Straw Hats arrive at Water 7 seeking to repair their ship, only to face internal conflict, the departure of Nico Robin, and the “death” of their beloved ship, the Going Merry.
18. Enies Lobby Arc Episodes 264-312

The crew declares war on the World Government to rescue Robin. This arc features incredible battles, the introduction of Gear Second and Gear Third, and the emotional farewell to the Going Merry.

24. Marineford Arc Episodes 457-489

The epic war between the Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines as they try to save Ace from execution. This arc changes the status quo of the One Piece world forever.
